It took first responders across multiple Nebraska counties to save a man that ended up trapped atop a cellphone tower, Nebraska fire officials said.

It was midday when the York Fire Department said it learned that a man was trapped under steel at the top of a cellphone tower in Fillmore County, according to a June 11 Facebook post.

Photos show the fire department’s ladder extended toward the top of the tower where the man was rescued.

The man was taken to a trauma center by helicopter, fire officials said. They did not provide an update on his condition.
