A mom and her three daughters beat a 16-year-old girl over a conflict she had with a family member at their Tennessee high school, authorities said.

Now, three of them face charges of assault and child abuse, according to Shelby County jail records.

Officers responded to a call about a fight at a Kipp High School shortly before 5 p.m. on March 6, the Memphis Police Department documented in an arrest affidavit.

A 16-year-old girl reported “she got jumped by a family,” police said. She told investigators there was a fight earlier at school, and a girl wanted to continue the fight after school, police said.

Once school was out, the 16-year-old was sitting in a vehicle when she said someone pulled her out, according to police.

The girl she had the conflict with “came towards her and the two began to fight,” police wrote in the affidavit.

Then the girl’s three family members jumped in: her 18-year-old sister, 21-year-old sister and 38-year-old mother, according to authorities.

A video reviewed by investigators showed the mom kicking the teen, while the other three hit her, leaving her with bruises, police said.

The 16-year-old identified the mom out of a lineup, and a warrant was issued for the arrest of the three women. They were booked in Shelby County jail on April 2 and released on their own recognizance.

None of the women have attorney information listed in Shelby County records, and there was no information on whether the other student is charged.
