Road rage crash ends with 2 girls thrown from SUV, 5 others injured, Michigan cops say

A 9-year-old and 10-year-old were thrown from an SUV during a road rage crash in New Haven, Michigan, deputies say. They have life-threatening injuries as a result.
The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office said the two involved vehicles lost control while engaging in aggressive driving just before 3 p.m. Feb. 4.
One of the vehicles involved, a Jeep Grand Cherokee, rolled over several times before coming to a stop, deputies said in a news release.
There were three children total in the car, the two girls thrown from the car and a 6-year-old girl who also sustained injuries, the sheriff’s office said. The driver, a 29-year-old woman, and a 30-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries.
The driver, passenger and three children were taken to a hospital, deputies said.
The 54-year-old driver and 38-year-old passenger in the second car, a Cadillac sedan, sustained minor injuries that did not require on-scene treatment, according to the news release.
New Haven is about 35 miles north of Detroit.
