Semitruck barreling toward trooper on highway just barely misses him, WY video shows
A highway patrol trooper was just seconds away from being struck by a commercial semitruck after it went off the road in Wyoming, officials said.
The trooper was walking in the median of the road when the semitruck driver lost control of the vehicle and drove it into the median on Interstate 80 near Rawlins, according to a news release posted on Facebook by highway patrol.
Video posted to Facebook on Feb. 21 shows the trooper walking back to his patrol car before looking up and quickly jumping out of the way. The semi then slides into some snow in the median, video shows.
Troopers said no one was hurt.
Rawlins is about 165 miles northwest of Cheyenne.
