A former president of a Little League Baseball organization in Texas is accused of taking children to other states for sporting and camping events with the intention of engaging in sexual activity with the minors, authorities said.

A federal grand jury recently indicted Adam Dale Isaacks, 39, with six counts of “transportation of a minor for sexual activity,” according to a Dec. 8 news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Texas.

Federal prosecutors said Isaacks was a youth baseball coach at the time of the alleged offenses from September 2020 to October 2021. He was also president of the Evadale Little League Baseball organization.

The indictment filed in court on Dec. 7 alleges Isaacks took three different kids out of state to engage in sexual activity. The states included Arkansas, Colorado, Georgia and Florida.

Isaacks, of Silsbee, does not have a defense attorney listed in public records as of Dec. 9. McClatchy News was unable to reach him for comment.

If he is convicted of the charges, he would face a sentence of up to life in federal prison.

Isaacks also faces child sex crime-related charges in Texas, according to local news reports.

In December 2021, he was arrested on a charge of alleged indecency with a child, according to the Beaumont Enterprise. An Evadale Little League Board Member confirmed he was removed from leadership at the time of the allegations.

In January, three additional charges of first-degree felony continuous sexual assault of a child were filed against Isaacks, KBMT reported. Officials said he’s accused of “sexually abusing little league baseball players as young as seven.”

Evadale Little League did not immediately respond to a request for comment from McClatchy News on Dec. 9.

Silsbee is about 20 miles north of Beaumont in south Texas, about 100 miles northeast of Houston.
