Weeks after a UTV rider found a man’s body in a wash, Arizona officials are looking to the public for answers.

The rider found the body on Aug. 27 near “Katherine Heights outside of Bullhead City,” according to an Oct. 4 Facebook post from the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.

Due to the body’s condition, “he was unable to be identified and was transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy,” the post said.

Detectives combed through Mohave County missing persons records with no luck, according to the sheriff’s office.

“Detectives are reaching out to the community for assistance in identifying the deceased subject,” the post said.

The man is described as a white male, between the ages of 20 and 40, with light brown/reddish hair, the sheriff’s office said. He is estimated to have been about 6 feet, 2 inches tall, weighing about 230 pounds. The man also wore a size 13 shoe.

Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at 928-753-0753, ext. 4288.

Bullhead City is about 230 miles northwest of Phoenix.
