A Wendy’s employee was arrested after being accused of assaulting a customer, police in Arizona said.

The incident took place at a Wendy’s restaurant in Prescott Valley at around 4:41 p.m. on July 26, the Prescott Valley Police Department said in a Facebook post.

The 67-year-old customer confronted the 35-year-old employee to complain about his food, police said in the post. The employee is accused of coming out from behind the counter and hitting the man in the head, police said.

The customer fell to the ground and hit his head, knocking him unconscious, the post said. He was airlifted to a local hospital where remains in critical condition, police said.

The employee, Antoine Kendrick of Prescott, was arrested and faces a charge of aggravated assault, police said.
