Naked 28-year-old man found sleeping in 12-year-old’s bed, Arizona police say
A 12-year-old girl awoke to find a 28-year-old naked man sleeping next to her in bed, Arizona police said.
Diego Lara Felix was arrested and charged with two counts of indecent exposure and possession of a narcotic drug on Sunday, May 22, in Phoenix, according to charging documents and a probable cause statement.
The child was sleeping in her room when she felt something touch her leg, police said. When she woke up and turned the light on, she saw Felix asleep and naked in her bed, police said.
A family member told the man to get dressed and walked him out of the home, police said. The family told police they didn’t know him.
Felix said he didn’t remember getting into the girl’s bed. He told police he remembered drinking beer with friends at a house in Phoenix before he realized he was in a police car.
Police also found a substance they believed to be cocaine on Felix during his arrest.
His next court hearing is scheduled for June 7.
