Former Disney executive’s compound may break a California record. See the $225M estate

Even though his name is associated with Paramount Pictures, NBC, CBS, and ABC, many millennials will always associate businessman Michael Eisner as the presenter of The Magical World of Disney, which ran during the late 1980s and early ‘90s. Eisner, at the time, was CEO of The Walt Disney Company and the face of the company until 2005.

And now, Eisner is looking to sell his Malibu seaside compound for $225 million.

If it sells for that price, it will shatter the record for the most expensive home sold in the Golden State by almost $50 million, multiple news outlets including the Wall Street Journal reported.

Currently, the record belongs to the home of billionaire Marc Andreessen, who bought his own Malibu dream estate for $177 million in 2021, the Los Angeles Times says.

According to Dirt, Eisner and his wife, Jane, bought the “the first of the five parcels that comprise their super-deluxe compound in 1995, and added the adjoining lots over the next handful of years.”

There are now nine buildings on five acres.

“The stone-covered structures feature antique terra-cotta roofs that are brilliantly connected through gardens and courtyards that all overlook incredible views of the Pacific Ocean,” the listing on Westside Estate Agency describes.

The compound consists of a main house, several guest houses, an office and a gym, the listing says. But the most impressive? An underground tunnel that leads from the pool to a large movie theater. There is also an elevator that brings you down to the beach.

The listing is held by Kurt Rappaport of Westside Estate Agency.
