Body found near trail a month ago. Now Oregon officials want help identifying her

A woman has yet to be identified after her body was found near a popular trail a month ago in Oregon, officials said.

The woman’s body was found Feb. 24 along the Springwater Corridor Trail, a paved trail that stretches 21 miles from Portland to Boring. Her body was found in Gresham, immediately east of Portland.

After a month of searching for answers, the Multnomah County Medical Examiner’s Office is asking for help identifying the woman.

“The woman was white and between the ages of 40 to 60 years old with medium-length light brown/blonde hair with some gray,” the medical examiner said in a March 23 news release.

The woman was 5’4” and 129 pounds, according to the medical examiner. She previously had surgery on her head.

At the time of her death, the woman was wearing layers, including black gloves and hat. She also had on blue jeans, a white shirt and two sweaters.

The woman had a jacket with “Patricia G” handwritten on it.

“She was found with a TriMet day pass, black and gray lunch bag, black lanyard and blue rain poncho,” officials said. “Anyone with any information about this person is asked to please call the Multnomah County Medical.”

TriMet is an agency that operates mass transit in the Portland metropolitan area.
