Nacho fries are making a comeback at Taco Bell. Here’s when you can get them
Taco Bell fans will get the chance to “fry again” with the return of the fan-favorite nacho fries.
The seasoned fries, served with a side of warm cheese sauce, will land on menus nationwide March 10 for a limited time, the national taco chain announced in a news release March 8.
Taco Bell rewards members get first dibs with early access starting March 8-9 via the restaurant’s mobile app, but the fries will only be available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Rewards members will again have a chance to savor the Nacho Fries for free with a minimum $1 purchase from March 24-26.
Then, from March 27 though April 13, fans can enjoy a free order of Nacho Fries with a minimum $15 purchase through food delivery app Grubhub.
The recurring perks are inspired by Taco Bell’s mock movie campaign, which has accompanied every iteration of Nacho Fries since they debuted in 2018, according to the release. The story line for this year’s film, dubbed “Fry Again,” features a character who’s stuck in a time loop continuum and was co-created with some of Taco Bell’s biggest fans.
“We’ve explored tons of genres for Nacho Fries over the years, but this may be my favorite yet because it gave our most loyal fans a front-row seat to co-create one of our biggest fan led campaigns ever,” Tracee Larocca, head of brand creative for Taco Bell, said in a statement.
“With the bar set this high, who knows where we’ll take Nacho Fries next,” Larocca said.
Fans can purchase the fries a la carte for $1.49 or as part of the Nachos Fries Box — which includes Nacho Fries, a beefy five-layer burrito, a crunchy taco and a drink — for $5.49
