Couple wins $3 million while grocery shopping in Missouri. It’s not their first jackpot
A couple’s grocery trip to a convenience store paid off in a big way as they decided to try their luck with the Missouri Lottery’s Big Riches scratch-off game.
The couple, whose identity was not disclosed by lottery officials, bought the $30 ticket at Short Stop Convenience in their native Washington County.
“I just had this feeling,” one-half of the couple told lottery officials.
The scratch-off ended up being a $3 million winner — one of four jackpot prizes the Big Riches game has to offer.
It’s their second time winning big on one of the Missouri Lottery’s scratch-off games. A few years ago, they won a $250,000 prize, KTVI reported.
“It was just like God blessed us again,” the woman said, according to the lottery.
The Big Riches game has more than $119 million in unclaimed money, including three $3 million prizes and three worth $100,000.
