McDonald’s, others giving away free fries for National Fry Day. Here’s how to get them

Monday is National French Fry Day and McDonald’s, Steak ‘n Shake and White Castle want to help you celebrate the right way.

In honor of the crispy and delicious dish, the restaurants are giving away free fries. Here’s how to get them.

McDonald’s

McDonald’s is giving away a free medium order of fries Monday at participating locations starting at 10:30 a.m. local time until close, the company said online.

The offer is available exclusively through the restaurant’s app, so you’ll have to download the McD app and register as a user to place your order if you haven’t already.

Access the offer through the “deals” tab at the bottom of the app, then either add the deal to your mobile order orhave the code scanned at the restaurant.

At the bottom of the page, you’ll also find a map of nearby McDonald’s restaurants participating in the deal.

The deal is not available for McDelivery and is limited to one per person per visit, the company said.

White Castle

In honor of National French Fry Day, White Castle is giving away small orders of fries, no purchase necessary, the company said online.

To get yours, present this coupon at participating locations.

The offer is limited to one per person per visit and is only available on Monday, the company said. It cannot be used on delivery orders.

Steak ‘n Shake

Getting a free order of fries at Steak ‘n Shake on Monday is simple: Just pull into the drive-thru at participating locations and ask, the company said in a Facebook post.

The offer is limited to one per person, the company said.

Always craving fries? Steak ‘n Shake has good news.

“Insider Tip: every day is Fry Day at Steak ‘n Shake – our fries are always free at drive-thru!” the company said in the post.
