Pizzeria worker thwarts gunman angry over amount of toppings, Arkansas police say
A customer upset with the lack of toppings on his pizza is accused of opening gunfire on a restaurant, Arkansas police say.
Little Rock police say the man got angry with an employee at Pie Five because he wanted more pizza toppings, KTHV reported. After the worker explained that they’re only allowed to use a certain amount, she called a manager by phone to speak with the man, the news outlet reported.
He threw the phone at the employee, went to his van and began walking back to the restaurant, KLRT reported. An assistant manager locked the doors to prevent him from getting back inside before the suspect pulled out a gun and shot the door, the TV station reported.
No one was hurt in the shooting, KATV reported.
Michael Brown, 44, was arrested, the news outlet reported. He’s facing six felony terroristic act charges, according to jail records.
