Tom Brady selling his armored ‘home office’ Cadillac Escalade for $300K. Look inside
If 2020 has taught us anything, it’s that things are forever changing, and nothing can stay the same.
During this bizarre NFL off-season, New England Patriots’ golden boy quarterback Tom Brady announced that he was taking his talents to Tampa Bay, and just up and left, leaving Patriots fans (and head coach Bill Belichick) wide-eyed and confused.
He already managed to score Derek Jeter’s 30,000-foot mansion in Tampa, McClatchy News previously reported. And now, Brady is selling his 2017 Cadillac Escalade with 13,000 miles for a cool $300,000.
“Parting ways with my Becker ESV won’t be easy,” Brady said on the Becker Automotive Design listing. “From day one it became my sanctuary from the outside noise. I took pride in picking out all the customizations of the ESV; from the trim of the seats to the color of the rug.”
The Escalade “looks like a combination of a private jet and a mobile office,” thanks to all the technological amenities in the vehicle, USA Sports Today reported. But there’s a reason for that, according to Brady and the description in the Becker Automotive listing.
“With such limited time in my busy schedule the ESV gave me those extra minutes to study my play book, make phone calls and be with my family. Immediately my productivity went up and my stress came down.”
The Escalade comes with a steel raised roof with steel support ribbing which is “designed to meet or exceed US Safety Standards and Crush Resistance Laws,” according to the listing. It also comes with a 32” HD LCD screen and a rear 12” screen. There are also folding tables that can be used as desks and a high-end mobile internet router.
Clearly, James Bond’s spruced up Aston Martin has nothing on Brady and his ESV game.
It’s the beginning of a new chapter for Brady and while he might sound somber in his listing, he’s clearly ready to start writing more history.
“I hope the next owner will take great care of her; she will always be a part of the Brady family.”
