One dead, five wounded in suburban Phoenix shootings

MESA, Ariz. – Police say one person has died and five people have been wounded in a rampage in a Phoenix suburb.

Mesa Detective Esteban provided the updated toll from the shooting as police hunted for the suspect. He said the crime spree included a carjacking and a home invasion.

The first shooting happened at a motel, and people were also wounded at a restaurant and nearby apartment complexes.

Police say the suspect is described in his early 30s or late 40s, with tattoos on head and face.
