Sarah Silverman’s Twitter account hacked after she scolds Bernie or Bust fans at DNC

A message on Sarah Silverman’s Twitter account on Wednesday says that the comedian has been hacked.

A tweet, now deleted, sent out from the account included the message, “America, are you awakening?” — which was also written in Russian — and a video called “Anonymous - A Message to Hillary Clinton.”

A screen grab of the deleted tweet from Mashable shows the message also included hashtags #HillaryForPrison and #Anonymous.

This comes two days after Silverman, who supported Bernie Sanders during the primaries, told Bernie or Bust fans they were being “ridiculous” when they booed her call for unity at the Democratic National Convention. Silverman said she will vote for Clinton now.

On Twitter, people have different thoughts about who hacked Silverman.

Apparent Sanders fans are making fun of her.

Katy Perry, Rosario Dawson, Lana Del Rey and the NFL have all had their Twitter accounts hacked in recent weeks, according to The New York Daily News.
