Army major, civilian worker and Marine sergeant are killed in Afghanistan
The U.S. Defense Department has reported these fatalities in Afghanistan:
▪ Army Maj. Michael J. Donahue, 41, of Columbus, Ohio, was killed Sept. 16 in an attack in Kabul. Also killed was:
▪ Stephen Byus, 39, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, a civilian member of the Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime who was a supply specialist.
▪ Marine Sgt. Charles C. Strong, 28, of Suffolk, Va., was killed Sept. 15 in combat operations in Herat province.
