Steven Seagal accused of raping a Mormon teen who was a movie extra, report says
Actor and director Steven Seagal has been accused of raping a teenager who was an extra on the set of his 1994 film “On Deadly Ground,” according to a report by The Wrap.
Regina Simons told The Wrap she was 18 when Seagal invited her to a party at his home in Beverly Hills. But when she arrived, she said, no one else was there but Seagal.
“He took me into this room and then just closed the door and started kissing me,” she told The Wrap. “He then took my clothes off and before I knew it he was on top of me, raping me. … I wasn’t sexually active yet. People always talk about fight-or-flight. But no one talks about the freeze.”
Simons told her Mormon bishop at the time about the incident, but she ultimately decided against seeking charges against Seagal.
“I wasn’t even allowed to date so for me it was a shameful thing,” she told The Wrap. “I was like, ‘Oh my God, how could this have happened?’ So, I blamed a lot of it on myself.”
Several other women have accused Seagal of sexual misconduct, but Simons is the first to accuse him of rape, according to Fox News.
Simons said the alleged incident damaged her acting career. After it, she moved home to Utah.
She is now an advocate for Native-American families, Fox News reported.
Model Faviola Dadis accused Seagal on Instagram of groping her during an ostensible audition in a hotel room when she was 20. Below is her account of the incident:
Actress Portia de Rossi tweeted in November that Seagal exposed himself to her during an audition for one of his movies.
My final audition for a Steven Segal movie took place in his office. He told me how important it was to have chemistry off-screen as he sat me down and unzipped his leather pants. I️ ran out and called my agent. Unfazed, she replied, “well, I didn’t know if he was your type.”

Jenny McCarthy accused Seagal of pressuring her to undress during a 1995 audition for “Under Siege 2,” according to USA Today.
Seagal is being investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department following sexual harassment allegations, USA Today reported.
