U.S. soldier killed by small-arms fire in Afghanistan

The U.S. Defense Department has reported this fatality:

Army Spc. Brian K. Arsenault, 28, of Northborough, Mass., was killed Sept. 4 by small-arms fire in Ghazni, Afghanistan.
