Watch one lucky deer get rescued from a Florida pond

The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office released a video showing a deer being rescued after it became trapped in a pond at a country club Sunday, August 27, according to the Miami Herald.

The Wildlife Inc. Education and Rehabilitation Center was contacted by Sarasota County deputies to help after two deer were reported stranded in a pond at Laurel Oak Country Club. The second deer did not survive.

Watch as the deer is rescued and pulled to safety.
