Watch: Vehicles scramble to get away from a charging rhino in India
Drivers in India seem to know they need to give a charging, roaming rhinoceros a wide berth.
A tour group called North-East of India was traveling down a road in Assam on July 26 and captured video of a rhino running loose as their vehicle followed, the UPI reported.
Some of the travelers provided commentary.
“Look at the size of the thing,” a man says at the beginning of the video.
“It’s a rhino,” a woman replies.
“Yeah, it’s a rhino, I know!” the man exclaims.
Many vehicles driving toward the rhino stop, quickly turn around and go the opposite direction — in one case nearly causing an accident.
“In rainy seasons it’s a regular view in Assam. Go to nearby areas of Kaziranga National Park and other national park of Assam, you will get this kind of scenario,” North-East of India wrote in the comments section on their Facebook page.
