No clean getaway: Naked intruder tries to shower with woman, then starts dishwashing

You would think the day couldn’t get any weirder when a strange man breaks into your home, gets naked and tries to join you for your morning shower.

You would think.

Sheena Diaz in Hackensack, N.J. was the victim of a home invasion this week that New York media are calling bizarre.

She was taking a shower around 8:30 am. Wednesday when a strange man came into the bathroom, pulled back the shower curtain and started taking off his clothes, according to WPIX-TV in New York.

Diaz told him she was going to call the police and he left the room.

She ran crying, wearing only a towel, into another room where her 16-year-old sister was playing with their 1-year-old nephew.

“She was panicking, she was crying, she was on the phone with the police,” Mikah Diaz told WPIX. “I asked her what happened, what’s wrong, and she said there’s a guy in the house.”

They locked the door and waited for the police.

That’s where things got really weird.

When police arrived they found James King, of Queens, in the kitchen, naked, washing dishes, according to News 4 New York.

He told police he was the housekeeper.

He left the house in handcuffs.

The women told News 4 all the doors were locked. They think King got in through an open window.

He faces charges of burglary and lewdness.
