Kids finish ahead of police officer in 40-meter dash in Wichita

He gave it his all, but in the end, he finished last.

That may have been his intent.

Officer Brandon Dorion with the Wichita State University Police Department is seen in a video racing a group of 7-year-old kids in a 40-meter dash during a track meet June 15 in Wichita.

Dressed in uniform, Dorion greets the kids at the finish line and gives them high-fives.

The race is part of the Shocker Summer Track and Field Series held each Thursday evening at Cessna Stadium.
