Kansas City rapper Mac Lethal has given voice to a bullied 11-year-old boy who couldn’t find his own.

In a YouTube video posted on Tuesday, Mac says a boy named Isaac emailed him a song about a boy who is bullying him.

Isaac asked Mac to perform it because he was too nervous to do it himself, Mac says in the video.

Isaac wrote that his friend, named Thomas, has bullied him every day for two years and has even turned kids at school against him. He beat up Isaac even after Isaac helped him with his math. Thomas picks on Isaac’s sister, too, Isaac wrote.

“I’m gonna rap this to the best of my ability and I hope it helps him,” Mac says in the video.

Then he begins.

You used to be my best friend in the world

Now you don’t like me ‘cause you say I throw like a girl.

I’m sorry that I don’t like sports

That doesn’t mean you can call me names and snort

I’m not as strong as you, when you punch me it hurts.

I’m still mad at you for rippin’ my new shirt

I lied about how it got ripped to my mom

You said that you wanna hit my house with a bomb

Your friendship is something that I cherish

But why do you want me to feel so embarrassed

I’m different I know that I’m different

I’m different I know that I’m different

I’m different I know that I’m different but I still care about you and our friendship.

The video has been viewed more than 800,000 between YouTube and on Mac’s Facebook page where people are sharing their own stories of being bullied.

“Powerful lyrics Isaac K! You moved me tonight and brought me back a ways. I too was bullied when I was your age, in my weakest moments it still stings,” wrote one woman.

“I want to tell you (if you are reading these comments) that channeling that hurt, in the way that you just did is your calling. I can feel it! You are strong, able, kind-hearted, creative and inspirational. I hope that you keep writing and sharing that pure heart of yours with the world. We really need more hearts like yours.”

Mac asked his followers to “share this with as many people as possible,” and as of Friday the video had been passed around on Facebook nearly 5,500 times.

“Stop bullying,” the rapper wrote. “Teach your kids martial arts.”
