Surveillance video catches Husky stealing loaf of bread from Dollar General

Beware Shafter, Calif., residents — you have a hungry, loaf-stealing Husky on the loose.

And the police are on the lookout.

Video obtained by the Shafter Police Department captured the dog attempting to walk out of a Dollar General store with a loaf of bread. An employee was able to wrangle it from the jaws of the dog.

This is what the police are reporting:

The suspect was able to avoid apprehension and escaped on all fours. The dog is described as white and grey and looks hungry.
