Another prominent candidate has launched his first TV ad of the fall campaign.
Republican Eric Greitens, who’s running for Missouri governor, on Monday announced that his first TV ad would begin airing statewide on Tuesday.
The ad features Greitens speaking to the camera and explaining why he launched The Mission Continues, his organization that connects wounded and disabled vets with volunteer programs.
“What I saw, is that as they came home, too many of them were being broken and mistreated by our own government. I think what a lot of the veterans needed -- and what they wanted -- was they wanted somebody who was willing to come to them and ask them to continue to serve again,” Greitens says in the ad.
