Another Missourians is inching closer to donning the robes as a federal judge.
Lawyer Steve Bough of Kansas City, who headed the Jackson County Democratic Party for several years, will have a hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee at 9:15 a.m. Thursday (our time) in the Dirksen Senate Office Building in Washington.
Reaching the hearing stage for a judicial nominee generally is considered to be a big step toward confirmation by the full Senate.
Bough’s hearing comes just days after the Senate confirmed another Missourian, Ronnie White, for an eastern Missouri bench seat. Bough would serve western Missouri.
