It looks like Sen. Ted Cruz’s presidential campaign will have legs after Super Tuesday.
The Texas Republican’s website says he plans a campaign rally Wednesday evening on the campus of the Johnson County Community College in Overland Park.
The doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Yardley Hall on the JCCC campus. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. More here.
The announcement suggests Cruz will continue his campaign at least through the end of the week. That could change if the senator fails to prevail Tuesday in Texas, his home state.

Of all the GOP candidates, however, Cruz appears to be in the best financial state. That means he could continue his campaign for some time if he chooses to do so.
Sen. Marco Rubio is planning a Friday campaign stop in the Wichita area, but his campaign says there are no current plans to come to Kansas City. Kansas GOP officials believe Donald Trump will come to Kansas before the Mar. 5 caucuses, but nothing has been officially released.
Sen. Bernie Sanders is expected to campaign in Lawrence on Thursday. No word yet from Hillary Clinton’s campaign.
