Kansas City may know Wednesday if it’s still in the running for the 2016 GOP National Convention, The Buzz has learned.
Officials involved in the effort to land the gathering say they expect an announcement of “the next step” in the decision-making process.
It isn’t clear if that means the list of four cities — Kansas City, Denver, Dallas and Cleveland — will be reduced or if some other step will be announced.
The site selection committee visited all four cities this month. Each was asked to submit adjusted bids after those visits.
