Sen. Claire McCaskill of Missouri chosen for jury duty
Sen. Claire McCaskill, who served as a prosecutor earlier in her career, was called as part of a juror pool Monday in St. Louis.
McCaskill live-tweeted her experience throughout the day, commenting on how she picked a prime location — next to a power outlet, how she tried to hide in a corner as a judge explained that jurors are paid only $10 a day and what other jurors were doing.
At the end of the day, she found out she was picked to serve on a jury for a civil trial.
