After Donald Trump filled yet another auditorium with supporters Saturday, the Republican presidential frontrunner got news Sunday that his lead the race for the Republican nomination in Iowa appears to be growing.

A Fox News poll showed Trump leading in Iowa with 34 percent, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz stood at 23 percent and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio at 12 percent. Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson led the rest of the pack with 7 percent support.

That poll of 378 likely voters was conducted from Jan. 13 through Jan. 21.

In a CBS/YouGov poll of 492 likely voters from Jan. 18 through Jan. 21, Trump held a five-point edge. He logged support of 39 percent of respondents to Cruz's 34 percent. In that poll, Rubio had 13 percent and Carson 5 percent.
