Local attorney getting another shot at the federal bench

President Barack Obama has re-nominated Roseann Ketchmark for the federal bench in Missouri’s western district.

Ketchmark got the nod last year but never made it to a full vote.

Obama has also nominated Ronald Lee Miller for the U.S. Marshall’s job in Kansas.

While we’re on the subject, Gov. Jay Nixon has nominated Leland Shurin of Kansas City for the state Gaming Commission.
