Trump commercial hits the air

With less than a month to go before the Iowa Republican caucus, Donald Trump is airing his first television ad.

The Washington Post called it “provocative.”

The ads are expected to escalate dramatically in the next two weeks.

Trump has spent dramatically less than several of his opponents, including Jeb Bush and Ben Carson. Trump has claimed he is self-funding his campaign, which isn’t true. He is spending lots of campaign cash on payments to people and organizations associated with his private company.
