Tim Flook named Clay County judge

Gov. Jay Nixon on Monday appointed attorney Tim Flook to the Clay County bench.

Flook was named an associate circuit judge to a newly created position. He served as a state representative from 2005-2010 and, among other issues, focused on campaign-finance and ethics.

He is a partner in the law firm of Flook & Graham and works as an assistant Clay County attorney.

He is a past president of the Hispanic Bar Association of Greater Kansas City.

“Tim Flook’s wide-ranging legal experience in Clay County makes him well-suited for this position, and I am confident he will ably serve the people of Clay County on the bench,” Nixon said.
