New Hampshire Sen. Kelly Ayotte has agreed to speak to the Missouri Republican Party’s annual Lincoln Days gathering.
This year’s event will be Feb. 20 at the downtown Marriott in Kansas City.
The Lincoln Days event rotates each year between KC, Springfield and St. Louis.
Chris Patterson, president of the Missouri Association of Republicans, said landing Ayotte was “quite a catch for our event.

“I am very excited to learn how Senator Ayotte and the new Republican majority in Washington is going to lead America,” Patterson said in a statement. “She is a committed fighter for fiscal sanity, which is something I believe every elected official should keep as their highest priority.”
Missouri Republican Party Chairman Ed Martin called Ayotte one of the GOP’s brightest stars, and he thanked Missouri Sen. Roy Blunt for helping the party land Ayotte.
