In what’s become a tradition, the Dole Institute of Politics at KU will again offer an in-depth look at the recent election on Thursday and Friday in Lawrence.
The two-day conference begins at 10 a.m. Thursday with a panel examining what was a fascinating set of elections in Kansas. Among the panelists: Dave Helling from The Star, Burd Loomis from KU, Washburn’s Bob Beatty, Kelly Arnold of the Kansas Republican Party and Joan Wagnon of the Kansas Democratic Party.
A national panel convenes at 2 p.m. Thursday for the first of three sessions. Among the panelists there are Dan Balz of The Washington Post, John McLaughlin of McLaughlin & Associates, Alex Isenstadt of Politico and Robert Collins of the National Republican Senatorial Campaign Committee.
The national panel comes together again at 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Friday.
