Former Missouri House Speaker John Diehl has left his law firm, according to a story in Missouri Lawyers Weekly.
The story says Diehl has left Husch Blackwell, a law firm headquartered in Kansas City and St. Louis. No reason was given.
Diehl resigned from the Missouri General Assembly in May after he admitted exchanging texts with a 19-year old intern. Republican governor candidate Catherine Hanaway is a partner at the firm according to its website.
