Freedom, Inc. picks up water bond cash

At the end of the year, Progress KC had less than $6,000 on hand. But it got $7,500 from

March 21.

It isn’t known what position Freedom has or will take on the water bonds, which will be paid for by water customers. In October 2013, Freedom said it opposed a translational sales tax because it hurt the poor.
