Those are some conclusions as the hammer came down on 2014 filings in Missouri.

The auditor’s race does feature a Libertarian,

, a Constitution party candidate. But the filing means there will not be a Democrat on the statewide ballot in Missouri this year.

There are five Democratic candidates for Cleaver’s job, including Cleaver. There are five Republicans, including perennial candidate

Jacob Turk

, and one Libertarian.

Only two Cleaver opponents have filed with the Federal Election Commission.

Rep.

Sam Graves

has three GOP primary opponents. Three Democrats have entered the 6th district primary and one Libertarian, again according to filings with the Missouri Secretary of State.

John WebbVicky Hartzler

in the 4th district GOP primary. Two Democrats and two Libertarians are also in the race.

State Sen.

Will KrausJ.J. Rizzo, Ira Anders, Noel Shull, Judy Morgan, Jeremy LaFaver, Gail McCann Beatty, Mike Cierpiot, Sheila Solon, Joe Runions.
