A new poll from Rasmussen Reports out Friday showed Democrat Paul Davis leading Republican incumbent Gov. Sam Brownback by 52-45 percent.
Two other polls out this week showed similar results. A poll earlier this week from Monmouth University in New Jersey gave Davis a 5 percentage point lead.
On Wednesday, a survey from Gravis Marketing had Davis leading by 49-44 percent.
The results come after other polls in mid-October showed Brownback leading or tied with Davis.

In the state’s closely watched U.S. Senate race, Rasmussen reported Thursday that independent Greg Orman led incumbent Republican Sen. Pat Roberts by 49-44 percent.
Monmouth had the race tied while Gravis had Orman up by 2 points.
The findings come as Brownback, Roberts and their GOP allies continue a furious TV ad bombardment against their Democratic rivals that could shift the numbers still with 11 days to go in the race.
In one other hotly contested race, incumbent Republican Secretary of State Kris Kobach was expanding his lead to about 5 points over Democrat Jean Schodorf, according to a poll analysis by Washburn University political scientist Bob Beatty.
