Nixon appoints Michael Kilgore to KC police board
Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon on Wednesday appointed lawyer Michael Kilgore to the Kansas City Board of Police Commissioners.
Kilgore is an attorney with Humphrey, Farrington & McClain and is a former member of the Missouri Ethics Commission and served as the board’s chairman. He also has worked as an assistant attorney general in Missouri and an assistant prosecuting attorney in Jackson County.
The appointment is subject to state Senate confirmation.
