U.S. Rep Kevin Yoder, wife welcome baby girl

Congratulations to Congressman Kevin Yoder and his wife, Brooke.

The two are the new parents of a baby girl, Caroline Lucille, born Thursday at Shawnee Mission Medical Center.

Caroline measured 20 inches and weighed 6 pounds, 1 ounce.

“Someone once told us that having a baby is the one opportunity we get to help God perform a miracle,” the congressman said in a statement. “Our beautiful daughter is a true blessing and we couldn’t be happier to add her to our family. Brooke and I are so appreciative of all of the support and encouragement as we start this exciting and new chapter of our lives.”
