The first wave of help for beleaguered Kansas Sen. Pat Roberts was a bevy of big-time Republican politicos filing into the state to campaign with the senator.
They had names such as Bush, Palin and McCain.
Now, the money is flowing.
CNN is reporting that the Koch brothers are poised to spend big money in Kansas to save Roberts and possibly deliver the Senate to the Republicans.

The brothers will do this through their group, Americans for Prosperity, CNN said. So far, the Kochs reportedly haven’t spent much on the race.
A second group with ties to the Kochs, Freedom Partners, already spent nearly $1 million on TV ads to bail out Roberts, who until recently has trailed in the polls to independent Greg Orman.
Another group coming to Roberts’ aid is the End Action Spending Fund, which has announced it’ll spend $1 million on Roberts’ behalf. And there’s a fourth group planning to spend on Roberts, too: the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, which just endorsed the senator.
