Now, it’s Sarah Palin’s turn.
The former Alaska governor and reality-show star will campaign with Kansas Sen. Pat Roberts at 8 a.m. Thursday in Independence, Kan., in the southeast part of the state.
In doing so, Palin joins and expanding list of prominent Republicans who are turning out to boost Roberts’ prospects in his unexpectedly tough re-election race against independent Greg Orman.
Besides Palin, Arizona Sen. John McCain, former Kansas Sen. Bob Dole and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush have all joined Roberts — or will be joining him — in the state.

“Governor Palin is one of our party’s grassroots leaders, and we are thrilled to have her support in this important race for U.S. Senate,” said Roberts campaign manager Corry Bliss in a statement.
