Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback has based much of his re-election campaign on claims the state is recovering from the recession, adding jobs and growing economically.
So imagine his surprise when fellow Republican Sen. Pat Roberts launches an ad that begins with this claim: “Kansans are struggling.”
An ad that will play over and over again in the state.
Not to mention Roberts’ claim of support for the National Bio and Agro Defense Facility in Manhattan. Roberts voted against the spending bill that included most of the federal money for NBAF.
