Americans divided on Jay Nixon response in Ferguson
America is split into thirds when considering Gov. Jay Nixon’s response to the police shooting in Ferguson, a New York Times-CBS poll shows.
Thirty-two percent of those surveyed are satisfied with Nixon’s response. Thirty-four percent are dissatisfied. And 34 percent don’t know.
Black Americans, though, are much more concerned. Almost half told pollsters there were dissatisfied, while just 24 percent happy.
