Charge filed after man is slashed in Johnson County road rage incident

A Gardner man was charged Friday with cutting another man with a knife during a road rage incident in Overland Park.

Michael L. Cruchelow, 41, was charged in Johnson County District Court with aggravated battery.

The incident occurred Thursday on an exit ramp from Interstate 35 to 75th Street, according to Overland Park police.

During the altercation, Cruchelow allegedly pulled out a hunting knife and cut another man on his arm and neck.

The victim was taken to a hospital where he was treated and released, police said.

Cruchelow was arrested later at his home.
