Liberty homicide victim identified as Darron Washington, 49

The man whose body was discovered early Tuesday outside a burning apartment in Liberty was identified Wednesday as Darron Washington, 49.

The Liberty resident of 200 Wilshire Blvd. was formerly of St. Louis.

Washington’s car was recovered later Tuesday in St. Louis. Police continue to investigate.
