Multiple unlocked cars burglarized at Lenexa townhouses

Police on Tuesday morning were investigating about 15 reports of car burglaries at the Barrington Park Townhomes community in Lenexa.

A least one person entered about 15 cars at the townhouses in the 109009 block of Houser Street sometime overnight and took small items from the vehicles.

Police found a bicycle that might have been used by the person who committed the burglaries. Police released photos of the bicycle, a Kent Freestyle bike, in an attempt to find the owner.

Anyone with information about the burglaries or the bike’s owner is asked to call police at 913-477-7301 or the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.
